2011 GenCon Constructed Championship

Here we have the rules for the 2011 GenCon championships next month, which will bring players from all over North America to compete for prizes, bragging rights and the title of 2011 D&D Miniatures North American champion (and quite possibly World champion).

This year, we are testing your ability to create a warband that is ready for anything. A versatile warband of up to 8 creatures (or perhaps more for the clever players out there)that can play regardless of the map it ends up on, or the format chosen.

You can find the details in the Tournament factsheet. Good luck and I hope to see you all there!

PI: Crit rules are specific to 'hand of fate.'
M, K: Normally, you would not score bonus points unless you scored points. I am ruling here that the points scored for Bounty are independent of those normally scored in the game. Therefore, you do in fact score 5 points for a kobold miner.

I said you needed to be prepared to play on it.
I never said you would actually play on it.

Is that evil? (or just unaligned...)

You need to go by the GenCon listings.
Some things were changed around, and we will have to do things their way.

That said, I could/should go back and change our notice to line up better.

To Sirohk:
The odds of the map you use, etc., completely depend upon the numbers showing up. I suspect, but will not guarrantee, that some players may well play on the same map twice.
