Eternal Blade Recall

It has become a tradition, just prior to GenCon, for the designers and the Organized Play folks to sit down and examine the state of the game. Of course, given the current state of the Guild, this is a metaphoric sit down, as we are scattered across the globe, but it follows the pattern set down by our predecessors at Wizards. Our quest lies in those figures that are causing problems for the Guild membership at large.

Updated Rulebook and Errata

Introducing Battle Rules (2009)

The Battle Rules (2009) rulebook is a complete rewrite of the D&D Miniatures Game rule set, incorporating the past year of changes, clarifications, and errata and a smaller number of new changes in a single document. You can download the new rulebook here.

Rebuilding from the Floor (Rules) Up...

The DDM Guild is please to announce the immediate release of the new D&D Miniatures Floor Rules. They offer new solutions for Dungeons and Dragons miniatures players, and should help us move the game forward. The plan from Oranized Play is to keep this document updated frequently, so that when new maps and sets are released, we can make it clear that they are legal.

Battle Rules (2009) -- Revised Beta

Based on feedback from the first beta rules, we’ve made some corrections and changes to the Battle Rules (2009) document. You can download the revised version here:

While this isn’t the final form, we recommend starting to play using these rules right away. The final version will likely change only typos, and add diagrams and the glossary.

Introducing Battle Rules (2009)

Over the past few months, the DDM Guild has been hard at work at creating a new version of the rules for the D&D Miniatures Game®. Rather than simply update the existing rulebook, we opted to instead take a comprehensive look at what was good about the rules and what could use some work. In the end, we’ve written an entirely new rulebook to describe the game you already play.
